Alternative browsing experience

Sensory Friendly Browsing is open to all patrons! It offers a different kind of experience and atmosphere for those visiting the library. This includes: lower lighting with table and small lights instead of overhead strip lights, no programming noise or foot traffic, additional spaces reserved for get comfortable in, and library staff available to help make your library experience as best as possible. Additionally, noise cancelling headphones, fidgets, and sensory input/ouput items are always available. Please inquire with any questions.

About the Library

From Utica and points north: Take State Route 12 South to Waterville. At the first signal light in town, continue straight on Stafford Avenue one block. At tee-intersection stop sign, turn right onto White Street. Look for Library lane entrance at about 300 feet on the left . From points east and west along US Route 20: At Sangerfield signal light (a Nice 'n Easy is on northwest corner of this intersection), turn north onto State Route 12, 1.3 miles into village of Waterville. Bear right at signal light onto White Street. Look for Library lane entrance at about 0.1 mile on the right.
